All oil paintings are on canvas and original artwork. I first start by painting the canvas a bold base color. Then I add the shell and tonal background on top. The sides of the deep canvas are left open and I intentionally leave spots where the base color comes through, creating an additional layer of depth. I love to explore and exaggerate color and texture to make each shell unique!

I have turned a few of my original paintings into high quality prints. They are printed on fine art paper with a white border and finished off with a signature. None of the texture or color is lost on these beautiful reproductions. Offered in a variety of shapes and sized, they can be the perfect addition to any spot in your home! Prints are an affordable option if you are not ready to build your fine art collection yet!

From paint to thread, my work is also stitched onto cotton and framed. Not only do I love how these are turning out, I also thoroughly enjoy making them. The pieces either come together in the studio, or on the couch cozied up at home. Using thread with preset colors, rather than mixing my own, has been an exciting challenge. I’m loving this new medium.
